PURPOSE:To replenish dissolved oxygen well and surely in an intake source and make the prevention of eutrophication of water resources by branching an intake pipe to an air tank as a device for replenishing dissolved oxygen in water and periodically supplying air to an aerator through an air feed pipe. CONSTITUTION:A device for replenishing dissolved oxygen in water is constituted by providing a gate valve 15 and a gate valve 19 for water feeding on the downstream of an intake pipe 11, providing a branch pipe 17 connected to an air tank 18, connecting an air feed pipe conducted to an aerator 25 provided below the water level of an intake source and an air suction pipe 22 open to the atmosphere to the upper part of the tank 18, and providing a back flow check valve 23 and a check valve 24 for suction to the pipe 22. The valve 15 and the valve 19 are operated to open and close at prescribed periods. Thereby, the air in the tank 18 is peridically supplied to an aerating tank 25 and the eutrophication of the dam is prevented without causing deficiency of the dissolved oxygen in the deep layer parts of the dam, and the running cost is lowered. |
