<p>PURPOSE:To provide a construction such that the erroneous assembling of the device cannot occur, by a method wherein the shape of a brake lever is made to be symmetrical with respect the longitudinal center line and the positional relationship of the lever to a brake case is restricted in a specified manner. CONSTITUTION:The brake lever 19 is formed by punching from a steel plate in the substantially cross-like shape which is symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal center line, with the upper part provided with a slot for engaging a rod 17 and with the lower part having a sufficient length to cover a fulcrum 15. On the other hand, the left and right ends have such a length as to leave an appropriate clearance of with respect to the inside diameter D of the brake case 8 and are formed in the shape of circular arcs of a radius of curvature of (d), the arcs being concentrical with the inside cylindrical surface of the case 8. Acccordingly, since the brake lever is symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal center line and the fitting part is the single slot provided on the axis of symmetry, the direction for assembling is fixed uniquely without any possibility of erroneous assembling.</p> |
