PURPOSE:To enhance the preservative property at a high temperature, the discharge capacity and operation voltage, by using an solute-added electrolyte whose solvent comprises three components, propylene carbonate, dimethoxyethane and dioxolane. CONSTITUTION:An organic electrolyte battery includes a negative electrode made of light metal, a positive electrode and an organic electrolyte comprising a solvent and a solute; the solvent being characterized by comprising three components system, propylene carbonate, dimethoxyethane and dioxolane. For example, the organic electrolyte battery includes the negative electrode made of lithium, the positive electrode made of a molded-fused mixture, and the electrolyte made from a mixed solution; the former molded-fused mixture being prepared by compression-molding a mixture of manganese dioxide, acetylene black and fluorine resin to form a molded mixture, then by thermo-fusing the molded mixture to form this molded-fused mixture; the former mixed solution being prepared by mixing propylene carbonate (50vol%), 1,2-dimethoxy ethane (40vol%) and dioxolane (10vol%) to make a mixture, then by adding 1mol concentration of lithium perchlorate as the solute to the former mixture to make the mixed solution. Thereby, the viscosity, the solubility of the solute, and the volatility can be improved and the preservative property at a high temperature, the discharge capacity and the operation voltage can be also enhanced. |
