The frame-mounted hinge-pin bearing block, with two parallel jaws for a threaded pin, guiding the hinge-pin across its axis and held in aligned jaw recesses, features a corner bearing for turbing-and-tilting windows, doors or similar. The inner recess (17) edge (18) is interrupted across a peripheral section, crossing over into a narrow slit (35) which opens in to the top (21) of the jaw (15,16). The threaded pin (12) has flat peripheral faces (28) fitting the recesses dia. with only slight play for turning. These are adjoined by a thickened section (26,27) and/or the thread section (23) between them is wider than the recess in dia. One thick section, at least can be in polygonal screw head form.
|
