<p>The device is for locating metal parts and consists of an assembly containing electronic components, a sensor, an acoustic indicator such as a loudspeaker or headphones, and connecting elements. It may be used as a hand probe or a ground search device. Conversion from one mode to the other and back is simple and rapid. The sensor which may be tubular or in the form of a search disc is mechanically attached to the electronic assembly by a screw connector. It is electrically connected via a cable coaxial with the mechanical connector. The connecting pieces are tubes with electrical plugs coaxial with the screw connectors. The search disc has a similar connector. The electronic assembly connector can accept a loudspeaker, headphones, or a battery charger.</p> |
