<p>The passage through the wall (1) is closable by a fire door (6) operating on hinges (7). The fire door (6) closes up an area necessary for the passage of transported pieces travelling on a track (3) in a suspended manner. The area around the track (3) which penetrates the upper fixed part (10) of the closure through a recess (11) is fitted with a mechanism operating a closure assembly (20) isolating the two adjacent spaces. The closure assembly (20) consists of two closing elements (23a,23b) hinged on bulkhead (21) and shaped in such a way that in the closed position the two elements tightly surround the track (3). In normal operating conditions, the two elements are in horizontal position suspended by fusible links (28a,28b) on a cable (27) penetrating fixed closure part (10) through opening (30). When the fusible links melt, the two elements drop into the closed position.</p> |
