PURPOSE:To avoid the flaws or soils on a disk surface and at the same time to prevent the surface reflection, by providing a thin film made of transparent synthetic resin having a higher hardness than a base material and a smaller refractive index of light on the surface (smooth surface) of the base material different from the surface on which the information signal of an optical video disk is recorded. CONSTITUTION:Information signals 2A and 2B are recorded on a single surface of each of base materials 1A and 1B of the methacrylic resin, etc. Then these base materials are stuck together with an adhesive layer 3 after the metallizing process through the Al vapor deposition, etc. Thus an optical video disk which is capable of reproduction on both surfaces can be obtained. Then thin film layers 4A and 4B made of transparent resin having a higher hardness and a smaller refractive index than the base material are formed on the materials 1A and 1B. The layers 4A and 4B use the resin such as the silicone resin, etc. that is hardened by the heating or irradiation of ultraviolet rays. In such way, the surface of a disk can be protected and at the same time the surface reflection factor is reduced. Thus the missing of signals can be avoided to reduce the noise and keep the external beauty. |
