<p>PURPOSE:To realize an inexpensive paper feeder of simple constitution and to prevent malfunction by coupling a guide material for manual paper feed and an automatic paper feeding mechanism via a link mechanism and operating the function of only one of two. CONSTITUTION:A guide plate 1 for manual paper feed is provided rotatably around a rotary shaft 4, and the setting table 16 of an automatic paper feeding mechanism is rotatable through a pushing-up material 13 rotating around a shaft 14; and both the shafts 4 and 14 are coupled togther via a link mechanism 21 composed of a transfer material 22, etc. For manual operation, drawing the guide plate 1 to this side pushes down the pushing-up material 13 through the mechanism 21, so automatic paper feed is disabled; and then transfer paper 11 is inserted into a paper feed opening 1a and manual copying is performed. When the guide plate 1 is stood upright, the setting table 16 is pushed up through the mechanism 21 to feed paper automatically. Thus, a simple, malfunction-free and inexpensive paper feeding mechanism is obtained.</p> |
