PURPOSE:To improve the operability of autofocusing by operating the in-focus detecting circuit of a camera body and the in-focus optical system driving motor of a lens barrel completely individually. CONSTITUTION:A camera body is provided with a switch circuit 6 operating an in- focus detector 1 and a driving motor M. In addition, an external operation switch S2 is provided for operating the in-focus detector 1 and driving motor M without reference to the operation of the switch circuit 6 of the camera body side. Consequently, an autofocusing mechanism is enabled to operate when either switch is turned on, thereby improving operability. |
