<p>1. System for cardiac monitoring of patients, of the kind comprising on the one hand a radio signal transmitter (5) which is coupled by wires (3 and 4) to electrodes (1 and 2) and which has to be worn by a patient and, on the other hand, a receiver (7) converting these radio signals and a transcoder (8) converting these electrical signals into electrical signals into significant and humanly understandable data, characterised in that the transcoder (8) is of the standard kind which may be coupled directly to the electrodes, that the unput of the transcoder is formed by three flexible conductors (15, 16 and 17) provided with plug-in extremities (12, 13 and 14) intended to be coupled to socket extremities of flexible leads connected to the electrodes (1 and 2) or else to three plug sockets (9, 10 and 11) forming the output of the receiver, and that the receiver (7) is independent with respect to the transcoder and comprises means for reconstituting, at the output of the receiver, from the radio signals received from the transmitter (5), the electrical signals present at the output of the electrode leads thus allowing an immediate standby operation in case of failure of the transmitter and/or of the receiver.</p> |
