PURPOSE:To improve the safety of running by detecting the direction of the deviation of a running vehicle from a guidance body and by correcting the running direction. CONSTITUTION:During a normal run, a running vehicle moves forth so that a guidance line 1 is positioned near the centers of detection coils 6 and 6a. Namely, the difference signal of detection signals of both the detection coils is inputted to one terminal of a differential amplfier 15, and a signal from a potentiometer 17 detecting the rotation point of a steering motor 7 is inputted to the other terminal to drive the motor 7, so a steering wheel is set in a predetermined adequate direction to guide the running vehicle. When the running vehicle deviates from the guidance line 1, signal levels of the detection coils 6 and 6a lower. Those levels are detected by comparators 18 and 18a to detect the deviation direction according to which level lowers first, and then the running vehicle is returned to the original direction through a motor controlling circuit 16. |
