PURPOSE:To realize the quick and simple searching of address for a disk-shaped recording carrier, by showing the order of music with the 1st address signal and varying the 2nd address signal toward the radius of the recording carrier. CONSTITUTION:The 1st address signal 31 showing the order of music plus the 2nd address signal 32 that gives a monotonous increase from the head of each music are recorded within each information unit. Then sections P3 and P4 are defined as the 3rd music and the 4th music respectively. When the address searching is given to the 4th music, a reproducer performs an arithmetic comparison between the 1st address signal in the reproduced address signal and the address signal desired by a user. A reader is shifted in the radius direction on a disk-shaped recoring carrier until a coincidence is obtained between both above-mentioned address signals and both signals enter the section P4. As a result, the time required for the reader to shift into the section P4 can be reduced enough. |
