COMPOZITII CERAMICE SINTERIZATE SI PROCEDEU DE OBTINERE A ACESTORA
摘要

Porcelain like articles are made by moulding a mixt. of 40-55% quartz, 0.4-4.0% AlF3 and 45-80% glass. The glass and the quartz may be of mediocre quality e.g. from scrap glass and from quartz sand or flour produced during grinding of kaolin. The AlF3 imparts an improved mechanical strength. The mouldings are made with the aid of a vehicle volatile at below 600 degrees C and are then sintered at below 900 degrees C.
