The fuel supply regulation system for the diesel engine for a vehicle using a liquid fuel such as propane, butane, etc. has a system of five expansion valves (I to V) between the liquefied gas bottle (100) and the carburettor (C). The first valve (I) is controlled by a spring and the third valve (III) has two sections in parallel. The last two valves (IV,V) have a low pressure reduction and are opened and closed by variations of pressure inside the carburettor tube (T), giving improved performance for starting and slowing down. The final valve (V) uses e.g. four small membranes (B1) on four faces of a cube, and the preceding valve (IV) similarly has four membranes mounted on four faces of a cube, and acting in opposition to the membranes of the other stage. An alternative design has six membranes. In further design variations, different sections of these valves are separate delivery tubes with outlets combining inside the carburettor.
|
