Gas roaster with lines of flames - combustion air fed by flat distributor plate and with vertically burning flames

The gas roaster has lines of flames. The combustion air is led by a distributor plate (24) with holes on one side of the surface passing through lines (1-7). The jet flame outlets (15-20) are on the other side. The flames are directed vertically and burn from the base. The plate is above the flames and virtually horizontal. Orifices are made in the plate near the inlet feeds to the lines of flames. The lines are in a plane (8) and the plate is flat.
