The machine producing scaled band rolls from laid up scaled flat laying sacks, bags or similar flat materials using a wind-in core held in a machine frame. It includes a holding band drawn from a storage roll with its bearing in the machine frame, a swivelling frame carrying rollers at opposite ends and with a driven endless conveyor band. The frame (10) has its bearing on a swivel axis (13) in the machine frame which subdivides the frame into a longer and a shorter lever arm and the ends of the winding core (5) are held in guides located parallel to each other. The guides extend in the direction of lines drawn through the axes of the winding core (5) and through the roller (9) having its bearing at the end of the shorter lever arm and supporting the winding core or alternatively the scaled band roll (8) being formed. |
