A door lock striker for a vehicle, which is fitted to the body of the vehicle, engages with a door lock body for keeping an automobile door closed, and disengages from the door lock body for releasing the door. This striker has a U-shaped rod (2) which engages with the latch of the door lock. An elastic material (5) is molded on the outer intermediate periphery of the rod (2). The elastic material (5) enhances the sound proofing effect when bringing it into the door lock body, and smoothly and tightly engages with the door lock. |
