The bottle carrier pack consists of two parts in foldable cardboard, or rigid shaped plastics. They fit together and may be secured by welding to hold a row of bottles. Each part is provided with part-circular cut-outs which, when superimposed, together form a full-circular opening. The opening forms a tight fit around a cross-section of the bottle neck below a rim. Each cut-out may consists of a semi-circle with the bottle neck diameter, intersecting a larger-diameter circle allowing passage of the bottle top closure. The relative position of the cut-outs in the two parts are such that, by sliding one relative to the other, the bottle neck is gripped between the two smaller semi-circles.
