发明名称 PRODUCTION OF STEEL WIRE MATERIAL FOR SPRING
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a steel wire material having good metallic structure free from any ferrite decarburized layer by passing a steel wire material after hot rolling in a temp. region where it assumes two phase structure of alpha and gamma in a specific time, thence allowing the same to complete pearlite transformation. CONSTITUTION:In the process for cooling a steel wire material after hot rolling, it is passed in a temp. region where it assumes 2 phase structure of alpha and gamma, that is, 900-700 deg.C, within 150 seconds, thence it is allowed to complete pearlite transformation. The steel wire material contg. 0.45-0.90% C, 0.15-2.20% Si, 0.30- 1.00% Mn, and if necessary, further contg. 1 or >=2 kinds of <=1.3% Cr, <=0.25% V, <=0.3% Mo, <=0.3% Ni and <=0.2% Cu and consisting of the balance iron and unavoidable impurities is the steel components adaptable for this. Thereby, the steel wire material which is a blank material for springs of superior fatigue resistance and abrasion resistance is obtained.
