PURPOSE:To disassemble and assemble a cassette body in a short time without occupying space by removing and assembling the respective parts of the cassette body by an arm swiveling device which is swivelably erected on the outer side of a cassette stand. CONSTITUTION:A cassette body 12 removed from the vessel for molten metal is placed on a cassette stand 1. Thence, the elastic repulsive effect of a spring is temporarily restrained by a jack device 4, after which a stationary plate bracket, and a rotor fitting are disconnected in this order from the body 12 by an elevator 2 provided approximately in the central part of the stand 1. These are lifed upward and are contained in arms 7 for members. Thence, the arms 7 are swiveled to exchange bricks. Thereby, the need for any hoisting machine such as crane is eliminated, just a narrow space is required, and the working time is reduced considerably. |
