PURPOSE:To enhance an assembling efficiency largely by a method wherein panels are sequentially transferred from a conveyor onto a rotatable assembling table and are jointed to each other. CONSTITUTION:The assembling table 4 is rotated, then the first panel 1 is transferred from a roller conveyor for feeding onto a roller conveyor for assembling and is held in a predetermined position. Next, the table 4 is rotated (in the direction of an arrow B) by 90 deg. around a shaft 5, and the second panel 1 is transferred onto the roller conveyor for assembling. By transferring the third panel 1 onto the roller conveyor for assembling, the three panels 1 are jointed into a -shaped configuration. In this condition, the three panels 1 are connected to each other by L-shaped metallic joints and the thus connected assembly is drawn out upward to obtain a unit for a bay window. Accordingly, the panel jointing operation can be carried out by a single person and the assembling efficiency is greatly enhanced. |
