摘要 The dental process produces the internal cones of tooth crowns, the model being first placed on the adjusting table of a parallelometer. A common ideal insertion direction is then determined by passing a parallel pin around the quadrant faces of all tooth uprights. Wax is then applied to the uprights. The wax is modelled by shaving, while continuously checking the taper of the quadrant faces, into blanks which are removed from the uprights, metallic internal cones being cast onto them. The cones are fitted onto the uprights and machined on the quadrant surfaces by milling tools. After determination of the common insertion direction, the quadrant faces of the uprights are measured to determine the best angle for all, giving a fixed cone angle for these faces. Wax is applied to the uprights and modelled at an angle between the insertion direction and half the fixed cone angle.
