PURPOSE:To obtain the titled elastomer useful as car parts, etc. easily and stably, obtained by adding a diepoxy compound, a metallic salt of a carboxylic acid, and an ethylenic polymer to a block-copolymerized polyetherester elastomer having low melt viscosity. CONSTITUTION:(A) 1kg block-copolymerized polyetherester elastomer obtained from a dicarboxylic acid consisting essentially of terephthalic acid (>=60mol%) or its ester forming derivative, a low molecular weight glycol or its ester forming derivative, and a polyalkylene glycol (preferably 2-15C glycol) having a molecular weight of 600-4,000 is blended in a molten state with (B) 10-100 millimole diepoxy compound (e.g., a compound shown by the formula, etc.), (C) 2-35 millimole metallic salt of group Ia or IIa (especialy Li salt, Ca salt, etc.) of >=10C carboxylic acid (especially dimeracid), and (D) 0.01-0.2kg ethylenic type copolymer having a metal basic group of carboxylic acid in its side chain preferably in a temperature range from a temperature by 3 deg.C higher than the melting point of the elastomer to 260 deg.C. |
