PURPOSE:To ensure a sufficient heating immediately after the start up by selecting whether the inflow water to heating radiator goes to either the engine side or the heat storage water tank side in a hot water type heater while a current shaper is provided in the tank to prevent the mixing of cold and hot water. CONSTITUTION:When a heating switch 16 is depressed at the start up, a relay contact 15b closes and a pump 10 is operated to have the previous high temperature water by the driving of the engine from a heat storage water tank 8. On the other hand, as immediately after the start up, the water temperature of the engine section 1 is low, solenoid valves 9 and 11 close. The cold water in a heating radiator 5 returns to an inlet region 8f to push the hot water in the current shaper 8d to the radiator 5. With a small capacity of the inlet region 8f of the heat storage water tank and a slightly large channel resistance of the current shaper 8d, the mixing of the cold and hot water can be prevented. Solenoid valves 9 and 11 open to resume the normal heating and storage of heat by detecting a rise in the water temperature, of any, of the engine 1 by the start up. |
