The fireplace accessory is for use in living rooms, and consists of an appliance, which is heated by an open fire. It has an air feed pipe (6), a conduit (8) to supply warmed air into the room, and a ventilator (5), to increase air flow. The appliance is height-adjustably fastened to a tripod (1), a carriage, or similar, so that it may rest on the room floor, and extend into the fireplace. The section of the appliance between the pipe and the conduit is serpentine-shaped, and extends in one plane.
