A card conveying device for a card reader. A conventional card conveying device for a card reader has a linear conveying passage, which should be longer than the length of a card. Accordingly, when the device employs a long card, the entire device tends to become very large. In order to reduce the size of the device, a card conveying device is so constructed as to provide a card inlet and a card outlet on the front surface of a case, to connect the card inlet to the outlet via a conveying passage bent approximately in U-shape within the case and to transfer the card while bending it in its longitudinal direction. This card conveying device can be used mainly for a card reader. |
