PURPOSE:To join polyethylene pipes incapable of adhering by adhesives with a simple processing and at a low cost by a method wherein a vinylchloride pipe is inserted integrally into the end of a flexible polyethylene pipe and a vinyl joint is joined with adhesives. CONSTITUTION:After a taper 2 is preferably given to the inner wall of a vinyl chloride pipe 1, a flexible polyethylene pipe 4 is inserted into a chamfering part 3 at the inner edge on an expanded side so that the end part of said polyethylene pipe can be seen on the side of the chamfering part 3. Then, a special form metal having the diameters nearly equal to the inner wall diameter of the pipe 1 is forcedly struck into the pipe from the side of the chamfering part 3 to the inner wall of the pipe 1 to stick the vinylchloride pipe 1 tightly to the end part of the polyethynene pipe 4. Then, said vinylchloride pipe 1 is adhered intimately by adhesives integrally to the inner wall of a vinylchloride joint 7 provided with an inner collar 6. |
