PURPOSE:To reduce ripple of the armature current and lower the level of vibration and noise of a motor, by a method wherein a filter which resonates at the output ripple frequency of a power converter is connected in parallel with the armature of a motor to be controlled. CONSTITUTION:In case of power supply to an armature 3 of a DC motor from a three-phase AC power source 1 through a static converter 2, one or more sets of series resonance circuits employing resonance reactors and resonance capacitors are connected in parallel with the armature 3. In this case, the resonance frequency of each of the series resonance circuits is set so as to be an integer multiple of the fundamental frequency 6f0 of the current ripple component of the converter 2. |
