PURPOSE:To facilitate the connection of a voltage regulator and a brush holder and to permit automatic assembly by a method wherein the terminal plates of the brush holder are directly connected to the hybrid thick film circuit substrate in the voltage regulator to integrally fix them by adhesives. CONSTITUTION:In a generator containing a rectifier rectifying AC output and a semiconductor voltage regulator, the terminal plates 16a-16d of a brush holder 15 are directly and electrically connected to the electrodes of a hybrid thick film circuit substrate 19 in the voltage regulator by soldering dip and the like. Furthermore, the voltage regulator circuit substrate 19, the heat sink 20 in the circuit substrate, and the brush holder 15 are integrally bonded and fixed by adhesives. This method facilitates the electrical connection work for the voltage regulator and the terminal plates of the brush holder and permits the automation of an assembly process. |
