<p>Electrically insulated pipe connection is for buried fuel ducts. Two electrically insulating, pref. glass fibre reinforced plastics insulating rings are sealingly clamped between 2 connected pipe flanges, both of which, and the pipe parts connected to them, are coated for a total axial length of at least 400 mm with a sintered-on layer of fuel-resistant pref. epoxy resin on all sides. In a radial mid plane of the ring is a built in metal inlay with an outer connector for a measuring bridge; each flange also has an outer connection point for the bridge.</p> |
