MANUFACTURE OF POLYOLEFIN RESIN COVERING PAPER FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC USE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain polyolefin resin covering paper with little die lips smearing and is excellent in surface quality by mixing special titanium oxide and a specific quantity of higher fatty acid metallic salt in polyolefin resin. CONSTITUTION:When polyolefin resin composite containing (preferable content: 5-25wt%) titanium oxide on one surface at least of paper is melted, extruded through a slit die on which the value of (land length of the die)/(opening diameter of the slit) exceeds 30 and coated to prepare photographic polyolefin resin covering paper, reduction of weight due to drying at 110 deg.C for 2hr does not exceed 0.35wt% in titanium oxide used and 0.01-5wt% of higher fatty acid metallic salt is added in polyolefin resin composite containing titanium oxide.
