PURPOSE:To prevent generation of an exciting rush current, by gradually raising the output of a power generating apparatus provided between an AC power source and a load transformer. CONSTITUTION:When a starting push button 21 is depressed, a breaker 3 and an electromagnetic contactor 8 are closed, so that a power generating apparatus 9 and a load transformer 2 are connected as well as the power generating apparatus 9 and an AC power source 1 are connected. With the field current of a generator 13 fixed at a given value by means of a field regulating circuit 20, the field current of an electromagnetic coupling 12 to connect a motor 11 and the generator 13 is controlled by means of an automatic frequency regulating circuit 16 in order to gradually raise the output voltage of the generating apparatus 9. Thereby, there will be no exciting rush current to the load transformer 2. Accordingly, occurrence of mistrip of the breaker 3 is prevented. |
