PURPOSE:To enable easy precise measurement of a pulse signal by generating a frame pulse which accords with the cycle of an input pulse signal and by giving a polar-coordinate indication to the time difference between the frame pulse and the input pulse signal. CONSTITUTION:The frame pulse b is generated by a high-stability synthesizer 2, and, by adjusting an adjusting unit 2a, each pulse a1, a2... of a pulse signal a and each pulse b1, b2... of the frame pulse b are made to have a fixed time difference x between them. When X and Y of an indication unit 7 are swept by sweeping signals f and g made by the frame pulse b thus generated and intensity modulation is conducted by the pulse signal a, a figure wherein each pulse a1... of the pulse signal a is expressed by a point in each of the frame intervals Y1, Y2... of the frame pulse b corresponding to the former is drawn. By this the content of the input pulse signal P can be known, while the figure can be formed into a single circle. By such a constitution, the repetition frequency of the input pulse signal P and the pulse interval thereof can be measured with high precision and with ease. |
