摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a resonant signal having large amplitude by presenting the uniform parts of high frequency magnetic field and static magnetic field on the circumference concentric with a central axis. CONSTITUTION:Atoms having the prescribed energy level of an atomic beam generated from an atomic beam furnace and collimator 16 are selectively converged via a deflecting magnetic pole 17 to form a plurality of ring-shaped or parallel beams at the central axis. This beam passes through the high frequency magnetic field of a coaxial mode resonator 18, and partial atoms are transferred to other level. The miniature configuration contract scale of the atomic energy level is released by the uniform weak magnetic field generated by the DC current supplied to a conductor 19 in the atomic beam. Then, the atomic beam passed through the resonator 18 is passed through a deflecting magnetic pole 20, is converged by the deflecting force, is introduced into ionizer detectors 21, 22, thereby exhibiting resonance characteristics. Since a plurality of parallel beams can be readily obtained in this manner, the magnitude of the resonance signal can be increased.
