Compounds of the general formula (X=H, halogen, CF 3 , NO 2 , alkyl or alkoxy; Z=H or -COCR<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>L in which R<SP>1</SP>'<SP>2</SP>= H or alkyl and L=halogen or free or protected amino group; U = -COPh in which Ph = phenyl optionally substituted by halogen, CF 3 , NO 2 , alkyl or alkoxy) are prepared by standard methods, such as trifluoroethylation, acylation and the Friedel-Crafts reaction. The preparation of 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl trichloromethylsulphonate and of substituted N- (2,2,2-trifluoroethyl) anilines is described. |
