PURPOSE:To directly store the optical information, by installing an optical information writing light emitting element, an optical amplifier and an optical information reading photodetector respectively in a closed loop type optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 12 makes the writing information WI incident on an optical fiber 11 in the form of light. An optical amplifier 13 compensates the attenuation of the optical information within the fiber 11. And a photodetector 14 obtaines the optical reading information RI out of the fiber 11. The optical information circulates repetitively within a fiber 11. For a data format of the optical information formed in the repetitive circulation, the part 22 held between the start and stop address codes 21 and 23 is turned into the optical information. |
