PURPOSE:To eliminate the deterioration of the characteristic of a wave guide due to a matching cavity and to realize a wide band matching characteristic between a low speed wave circuit and an outer wave guide circuit, by reducing both of the height and the width of the wave guide circuit and connecting to the low speed wave circuit. CONSTITUTION:A cavity-coupled type wave guide 1 is comprised of an electron gun section 3 for forming and projecting an electron beam 2, a circuit splitter 6 for blocking the coupling of the circuit wave between an input low speed wave circuit 4, and an output low speed circuit 5 along a long beam path, and a collector electrode 7 located at the end of the electron beam path. The cavity 8 of said circuit 4 is coupled through a coupling hole 9 electromagnetically through a coupling hole 9, while an input wave guide 10 having the tapered height and the weight is connected to one end of said circuit and a reflectionless terminal wave guide having the reduced height and width is connected to the other end. A reflectionless terminal wave guide 12 and an output wave guide 13 having reduced height and width and an output wave guide 13 are connected to said circuit 5. |
