PURPOSE:To enable the ready isolation of the connecting part of LEDs connected to each other as required and the formation of uniformly shaped configuration in the combination of the LEDs thus isolated by forming notches at the connecting part of the LEDs. CONSTITUTION:A pair of opposite notches 31 are formed at the connecting part 21 made of resin or the like for connecting a plurality of LEDs 11. When the LEDs 11 are isolated to unit in this configuration as required, the connecting part 21 with notches 31 is cut. A uniformly shaped indicator capable of indicating three colors in the desired combination of the LEDs 11 of the isolated units, e.g., in the combination of LED11-R, 11-Y, 11-G of different coloring is formed. In this manner the connecting part 21 can be readily isolated, and the cutting surface 22 of the connecting part 21 can be formed uniformly without complicated step of working. |
