PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of transfer, by providing at least 2 short-circuit electrodes on one substrate, and short-circuiting the opposed electrodes to the respective short-circuit electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Display electrodes 23 (23a, 23b,...23g), terminal electrodes 27 (27a, 27b,...27g) drawn out from said display electrodes, and short-circuit electrodes 24a, 24b are provided on an upper substrate 21. Between the short-circuit electrode 24a and an oposed electrode 25 being placed at the opposed position, a short-circuit material 26a is held, and in the same way, a short-circuit material 26b is held between the short-circuit electrode 24b and the opposed electrode 25. As for the short-circuit material, a metallic foil and a conductive adhesive agent can be used. According to this invention, when the opposed electrode is short-circuited through >=2 places, even if one short-circuited place has caused a conduction failure, it is short-circuited through other short-circuited place, and a normal display is executed. |
