PURPOSE:To ensure the rigid enforcement of a magnetic head core, to increase the acccuracy of measurement for a recording/reproduction head and a erasing head and furthermore to prevent the reduction of the electromagnetic converting efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A short circuit bar 6 of a magnetic material plus a recording/reproducing coil 7 are provided to a recording/reproduction magnetic head 1, and at the same time an erasing coil 8 is provided to an erasing head 2. Thus a magnetic head device incorporating a recording/reproduction head plus an erasing head is obtained. This head device has such structure in that one of the foot parts of a U-shaped auxiliary plate 3 of the recording/reproduction part with the head 2. Thus the head 2 is reinforced. A reinforcing plate 4 of the erasing part is formed into an L-shape, and accordingly the coil 7 can be wound closely around the head 1. This increases the electromagnetic converting efficiency. |
