OPTICAL CASSETTE TAPE WITH RECORDED DISPLAY

PURPOSE:To ensure the visual recognition for the recorded part of a tape, by providing a heat generator at a position opposed to an optical head with a tape held between the heat generator and the optical head and heating partially a recorded display layer of the tape. CONSTITUTION:A tape 15 contains a recording layer 15-3 plus a recorded display layer 15-4 on a plastic base 15-1. A heat generator 30 is provided opposedly to an optical head 20, and thus the tape 15 is held between the generator 30 and the head 20. The generator 30 consists of a thermal head and gives the discoloration to the layer 15-4. This discolored part can be viewed through a transparent part of the cassette tape.
