Greenhouse with double-pane glazing - has double U=section spacers at edges resting on frame flanges and bridged by outer seal strip

The greenhouse comprises parallel frame members (1) having flanges (2) to support the glazing (5,6) and flexible sealing strips (4) which are coupled (at 3) to these members and have lips engaging the upper surface of the glass. The glazing consists of pairs of equal-sized parallel panes (5,6) held apart by spacers (7) each formed as a metal or plastic sectional element having two parallel U-section grooves which receive the edges of the two panes and have the free ends of the inner flanges connected by a bridge portion parallel to the bottoms of the grooves. The outer flanges of the respective grooves pref. extend such that one rests on a carrier flange (2) whilst the other is engaged by the strip (4).
