PURPOSE:To improve the operating characteristics such as elimination of dead band and cancellation of effect of counter electromotive force, by operating two sets of DC electromagnets at the same time when an object to be supported is near a reference position, in a magnetic supporting controller by both DC electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:On (x) and (y) axes at the external circumference of a object to be supported (rotating body) (1) under position control, two sets of corresponding electromagnet groups 4, 5 and detectors 6, 7 detecting the position of rotating body on the (x), (y) axes are provided. A displacement detected at a detector is converted into a voltage V at a conversion circuit 8 and enters a comparator 9 and it is compared with an output voltage VO from a reference position setter 10, and the output difference is inputted to a control circuit 11 to obtain a control signal (e). The signal (e) and an auxiliary reference voltage EO are added and inputted to a discrimination circuit to obtain the 1st command signal picking up a positive signal only and this signal is subtracted by the EO and inputted to the discrimination circuit to obtain the 2nd command signal picking up a negative signal only. The both command signals control the electromagnets. As a result, since the opposing electromagnets are operated at the same time, the operation characteristics are improved for decrease in dead band and increase in restoring force. |
