PURPOSE:To improve registration efficiency, by generating voice in interlocking with a display section. CONSTITUTION:A display data input from a CPU11 is discriminated into a segment data signal and a digit data signal at a display interface 19, and they are given to a voice synthesis circuit 20h and a display tube drive circuit 3a. The voice synthesis circuit 20h converts the digit data signal into digits and the segment data signal into numbers, and the voice element corresponding to the concerned data is retrieved from ROMs 20a-20f storing the voice element and it is sent in the voice synthesis circuit 20h as voice data. The voice synthesis circuit 20h synthesizes voice data and after it is amplified at an audio amplifying circuit 20i, voice is outputted from a speaker 4. |
