PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of processing memory, by freely designating the size and location of a processed area on a video storage arbitrarily. CONSTITUTION:Video data read in at an optical read-in means are stored in a video storage 1. Character recognition is made to the video data stored in an output area 2. The video data in the output area 2 is picked up only for the processing area including characters from a video data in the video storage 1 and it is an aggregation of a partial video data processed for surface such as dust removal. A control firm section 3 is a firmware which controls the entire processing circuit and stores various parameters required for video processing to a parameter register 4. |
