Process for fastening light-reflecting films onto cloths

For the permanent fixing of light-reflecting, thermally activatable adhesive films onto umbrella cloths, the adhesive point is firstly treated with a solvent. Then the film is laid on the adhesive point and bonded onto the umbrella cloth with the application of heat and pressure, for example using a pressing iron. This provides an especially good adhesion.
