PURPOSE:To measure the flow speed and humidity at the same time, by using a metal having a high resistance temperature coefficient as a resistance and utilizing an element heat-joining said resistance and humidity-sensitive resistor. CONSTITUTION:A detection element S is constituted by a resistor R1 consisting of a metallic fine wire 1 having a high resistance temperature coefficient, and a heat- resisting insulating material 2 covering the wire 1, and a porous humidity-sensitive resistor 4' made of metallic oxide taking the wire 1 and the material 2 as the core and forming on said core by sintering. The resistor 4' and the wire 1 are heat-joined and a prescribed temperature is kept always. Further, the resistance value of the resistor 4' is lowered with absorbed humidity. The temperature of the resistor R1 (i.e. the element S) is automatically determined so that a four-side resistance bridge forming the resistor R1 as one side is in equilibrium and speed can be known by measuring an electric current I of this time by an indicator 8. At the same time, the relative humidity at the temperature of the element S can be known by measuring this resistance value by a resistance detection circuit 6. |
