PURPOSE:To obtain an inxpensive material for the receptor of a printer having high photosensitivity to semiconductor laser beams and causing no environmental pollution by adding a pyrazoline deriv. to a phthalocyanine pigment. CONSTITUTION:This material for a receptor contains a mixture prepared by adding a pyrazoline deriv. to a phthalocyanine pigment as a prncipal component. For example, by mixing a phthalocyanine pigment such as copper phthalocyanine with a pyrazoline deriv. and dispersing the mixture in a resin such as polyeser, a layer 8 is formed on an electrically conductive support 3 to obtain a receptor P3 with improved contact between the phthalocyanine pigment and the electronically active compund and an increased carrier transferring rate.
