PURPOSE:To measure the intensity of an input signal accurately, by receiving an input signal externally, storing the amplitude information and calibrating the amplitude information stored through the production of a calibration signal instantly. CONSTITUTION:A switcher 7 ties an input terminal 1 and a receiver 2, and a switcher 8 connects the amplitude information output of the receiver 2 with a storage circuit 5. In this state, when an unknown high frequency signal is inputted to the terminal 1, the frequency information of an output signal of the receiver 2 is stored in a frequency storage device 3 and the amplitude information is stored to the circuit 5. The storage device 3 stores the frequency information and gives it to an oscillator 4. The oscillator 4 produces a signal of a constant power calibrated with a frequency just as the frequency information. When the circuit 5 completes the storage of the amplitude information, it outputs a control signal to switch the switchers 7, 8 and connects the receiver 2 with the oscillator 4 and a storage circuit 6. As a result, the signal with calibrated amplitude from the oscillator 4 is stored in the circuit 6, and the amplitude information of the circuit 6 calibrates the amplitude information of the circuit 5 at a calibrator 9 to output the unknown high frequency signal calibrated at the calibrator 9. |
