PURPOSE:To prevent the discolorationof backing paper during heating and make images sharp by using natural pulp of less than specific values of PC value for part or the whole of natural pulp used for the backing paper in a receptive sheet used for an electrophotographic method. CONSTITUTION:In a receptive sheet which consits of backing paper consisting essentially of natural pulp, a layer contg. an electron receptive material fromed on the backing paper, and an air permeable layer consisting of a transparent or white high polymer material and which colors a colorless heat-sublimatable dye, natural pulse of <=2 the PC value defined by the equation is used for part or the whole of the natural pulp used for the backing paper, whereby the intended receptive sheet is obtained. The natural pulp of <=2 PC value is obtained by digesting natural pulp, and bleaching the same by chlorine or the like then further subjecting the same to bleaching by a peroxide in an aqueous alkaline medium or bleaching by a borohydride compound. |
